Used Doosan DX225 Excavator

The DB58 series engines, such as the DB58TI and DB58TIS, feature inline six-cylinder water-cooled turbocharged intercooler technology. These engines have a displacement of 5.785 liters, a rated power range of 108-115 kW/2000-1950 rpm, and a maximum torque output of more than 500 Nm, ensuring strong and efficient performance.

The DX225 is equipped with a Kawasaki parallel inclined axis axial piston main pump with a maximum flow of 2×116 l/min, and a gear pilot pump with a flow of 27.7 l/min. This configuration is combined with Doosan’s self-developed e-EPOS electronic control system to achieve intelligent coordination of the power system and hydraulic system, ensuring efficient and precise operation.

The X chassis is equipped with a 600 mm wide track with a ground pressure of only 44 kPa. This design allows the machine to remain stable even on soft ground. The total length of the track is 4445 mm, and the ground clearance is 475 mm, which has better passability compared to similar products such as the 716.

The large and small arms of this excavator are welded with cast steel hubs and thickened steel plates. The key parts are reinforced with super-hard wear-resistant plates, which increases the service life by more than 20%. The bucket blade is made of high-chromium alloy, which increases the wear resistance by 30%.

The DX225 equipped with the DB58 engine is mainly used for medium and large earthwork projects, mine stripping and infrastructure construction. Users reported that the excavator has “excellent full-load operation stability” and “timely supply of maintenance parts”, which is especially suitable for long-term high-intensity operations.
